Hook: The hook is the primary device for hoisting goods and is responsible for carrying the load. It is typically forged from high-strength steel to endure heavy loads and strong impacts and vibrations.
Hoisting Rope: The hoisting rope connects the hook to the load and suspends the load from the main girder. It is usually made of high-strength steel wire rope or synthetic fiber rope to withstand heavy loads and significant impact and vibration.
Equalizer Beam (or Spreader Beam): The equalizer beam is an important component connecting the main girder and the auxiliary girder (or connecting multiple lifting points). It helps maintain the hook's horizontal position during lifting movements. It is typically made from high-strength steel to endure strong impacts and vibrations.
The primary function of a crane beam is for hoisting and transporting goods. Therefore, its design and manufacturing must consider numerous factors, such as load capacity, vibration, stability, and safety.
